In 1969, Metaltex's first factory was opened in the Vila Olímpia neighborhood of São Paulo.

Due to increased manufacturing volume, the parent company moves to its current address in the Socorro neighborhood of São Paulo, where it has 10,000 square meters of built area on a plot of land twice that size.

As there were very few manufacturers of this technology, the local production of this relay was crucial for the development of the national telecommunications industry.

In 1990, Metaltex opened its first branch in Rio de Janeiro.

In 2008, Metaltex celebrated 50 years of history, with over 10 branches opened nationwide and its products available in more than 15 countries.
