Metaltex variable frequency drives are electronic devices used to control the speed and torque of three-phase asynchronous motors by adjusting frequency and voltage. They are essential in modern automation, enhancing efficiency, reducing mechanical wear, and optimizing industrial processes. We offer versions with scalar control (V/f curve) for simple applications, as well as models featuring advanced vector control algorithms—available in open-loop (sensorless) and/or closed-loop (encoder-based) configurations—to ensure precise speed and torque control. These drives withstand overloads of up to 150% for one minute and feature a Human-Machine Interface (HMI) with a digital potentiometer, an RS-485 port with Modbus-RTU protocol, PID control, and multiple configurable digital and analog inputs/outputs. Their compact design facilitates installation. A variety of accessories is available, depending on the model.
