RCDs – Residual Current Circuit Breakers
Metaltex residual current devices (RCDs) are DIN-rail mountable units designed to protect people and installations against electric shock and leakage currents. Available in 2-pole and 4-pole versions for currents ranging from 25 A to 125 A, they operate with trip sensitivities of 30 mA (personnel protection) or 300 mA (fire and equipment protection) and feature a 6 kA breaking capacity. They are available in Type AC for standard loads and Type A for electronic loads.
