Metaltex inductive sensors from the I, I18AN, and IQ series operate via magnetic field variation to detect metal objects without physical contact. They are available in cylindrical (flush or not) and square housings, featuring DC versions with 3- or 4-wire NPN or PNP outputs, as well as AC models with 2-wire outputs.
